Membership & Certification
It is only possible to join and be in good standing in CPSP by active membership in a chapter. The very concept of a covenant community demands that we know one another and be known to one another. Peer review and peer support are two essential aspects of chapter life. If you are a clinically trained pastoral care professional, or someone who is interested in clinical training in pastoral care, you will find CPSP to be a supportive and challenging professional environment and for those involved in or aspiring to a role in supervision and/or psychotherapy, Nautilus Pacific is an especially vibrant and caring choice of chapter.
In keeping with the vision expressed in the CPSP Covenant, all certifications are reviewed first at the chapter level by qualified members who know the candidate seeking certification. The Nautilus Pacific Chapter is committed to helping those seeking certification at all levels. Its diplomates review and provide certification opportunities for CPSP members who are referred by their chapters. Those who receive certification by Nautilus Pacific are then ratified at the annual CPSP Plenary gathering.
